I’m a Belgian expat living in Spain since 2018 — first in Valencia, and now in Tenerife, where I currently live.
The sunshine, the language, the landscapes and the slower pace of life quickly convinced me to settle here for good.
I originally studied Contemporary History (another passion of mine) before moving into tourism and later, the digital world.
Today, I divide my time between my travel blogs, Escapas and Explore-Canaries, and my work as a web designer and SEO specialist at Studio Marlie.
I launched Escapas to bring together everything I love: writing, traveling, and helping others plan their trips.
My goal? To show you an authentic, diverse, and accessible Spain, far from clichés.
