Some ideas for activities in Asturias 👇
Where to stay in Asturias
One of the fascinating things about Asturias is the diversity of its landscapes! Visitors can choose between the sea, the mountains and the city (and why not combine them all on a roadtrip).
Coastal towns such as Gijón, Ribadesella and Llanes offer accommodation with ocean views, where you can wake up to the soothing sound of the waves and enjoy the magnificent beaches nearby.
If you prefer mountain scenery and outdoor activities, stay in the mountainous areas of Asturias, heading for the Picos de Europa area! Choose accommodation near Covadonga or Cangas de Onís to be right in the heart of these magnificent mountains. You’ll be able to enjoy breathtaking scenery.
If you’re more interested in city life, staying in one of Asturias’ cities will allow you to enjoy a fascinating mix of history, culture and modern life. Oviedo, the capital, is renowned for its medieval historic centre, art museums and rich gastronomic tradition. Gijón, the largest city in Asturias, offers a dynamic atmosphere with its festivals, contemporary art galleries and lively nightlife.
